My travels recently took me to Namibia,

a place of fantastic desert landscapes, the Namib & Kalahari,

Fish Canyon, the 2nd largest canyon after the Grand Canyon, or so they say,

sand dunes to die for, DeadVlei at Sossusvlei being the amazing salt pan 1,000 years old where the water was literally sucked out of the Acacia trees after the river diversion. The trees to this day are standing like charcoal sticks.

The wonderful Etosha game reserve and the ghost town of Kolmanskop, overtaken by sands, abandoned after the collapse of the diamond mining there.

A photographer’s dream!
